FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to obstetrics and gynecology. At extraction of fetus with extremely low and very low body weight during cesarean section single fetus-placental complex is removed from uterus. It is transported to source of radiant heat. Only then it is followed by opening of membranes and manual return of blood from umbilical cord in direction from placenta to umbilical cord with its further intersection. Method enables maximum careful fetus extraction from uterine cavity in newborns with extremely low and very low body weight with minimal mechanical and pressure injuries, preserve “thermal circuit” from surgical field to table with radiant heat, excludes possibility of newborn hypothermia, prevention of developing anaemia and hypovolemia, reducing risk of polycythemia, providing possibility of timely delivery of intensive care.

EFFECT: so disclosed method provides maximum gentle fetus extraction from uterine cavity with minimal mechanical and pressure involvement of newborn and maintaining “heat circuit” from surgical area to newborn.
