FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a cyclone separator, which separates particles, liquid droplets and or condensing mists from gases without use of a filter element, as well as separator apparatus comprising such separators, and a method for separation of material containing a gas and at least solid particles and/or liquid in such apparatus. Separator for use with gas or liquid comprises at least one housing, having at least one inlet and at least one outlet, at least one spiral mechanism, comprising at least one spiral tube and configured to cause gas or liquid to spiral within said housing. At least one separator is located adjacent to at least one spiral mechanism and is made for further separation of particles from gas or liquid. Separator is made to separate components at a rate of up to 20 l/h for liquid flow or to 2,000 Nl/h for gas flow. Separation apparatus includes a first separator and a second separator, wherein second separator is connected via pipeline with first separator. Method of separating material containing gas and at least solid particles and/or liquid includes following steps: introduction of materia, to be separated into separator, passing material to be separated in at least one spiral mechanism to create vortex motion, passing material to be separated through a separator, comprising multiple ribs, which are configured to create effect of collision for condensation of particles of separated material in non-gaseous form, passing said material after step inside housing, to separate material separated in non-gaseous form, from separator. Further, method comprises removal of at least part of said material, separated in non-gaseous form from at least some part of residual gas, removal of at least some part of separated non-gaseous material from separator through a first outlet. Step for removal of at least some part of said separated gaseous material through second outlet is carried out in separator, configured to separate particles in a condensate with size of up to 10 microns.

EFFECT: high efficiency of separation of particles and/or liquid droplets and condensate from gas without using a filter element, as well as enabling operation of separator with low rate of gas flow.
