FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to physiotherapy, urology and sexopathology, and can be sued in treatment of erectile dysfunction. Forcibly erect penis in projection of cavernous bodies is subjected to impact of shock waves of low intensity. Forced erection is realised by intracavernous introduction of erectogenic medication into corpus penis. Shock wave therapy is realised by impact by shock waves with pressure from 1 to 5 bars, generation frequency from 8 to 15 Hz and quantity of pulses per session 3000.
EFFECT: method ensures treatment efficiency by normalisation of blood circulation in penis due to relaxation of smooth musculature, destruction of fibrosis, formation of new microvascular bed in cavernous bodies of penis, enhancement of ozygenation, as well as increase of testosterone level in patient's blood due to combined impact of erectogenic medication and shock waves of low intensity on erected penis.
