FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and can be used for reinforcing and/or lifting face and body skin. Suture material for cosmetic operations consists of thread twisted in spirals. First thread is made of gold and is provided with knot thickenings, located with 2-5 mm step along longitudinal axis of first thread spiral. Diameter of each knot thickening 3 is 0.2-0.4 mm larger than diameter of second thread. Spiral of second thread intersects with spiral of first thread between knot thickenings, at equal distance from each knot thickening.
EFFECT: obtaining cosmetic suture material, which preserves high strength during long location in tissues, reduces surgery trauma and makes it possible to reduce time of cosmetic operation.
