Method of providing context menu launching mechanisms includes: in response to detection of displayed content part selection on user interface or user action on user interface, presentation of launcher indicator, associated with basic context menu, wherein launcher position indicator is selected based on displayed content selected part; automatic launcher position indicator adjustment based on input direction, associated with displayed content selected part, user attribute, and relative to user action direction, wherein user attribute includes left- or right-handedness of user, fingers size or pointing device, as well as arrangement user preference; detection of other user action associated with displayed launcher indicator; in response to another user action, execution of command or base context menu display.

EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of using context menus.
