FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electromagnetic compatibility of radioelectronic equipment, namely, to increasing resistance to external electromagnetic fields of connections made on the basis of a coaxial cable. Method of decreasing the level of voltages induced on matched loads of a coaxial cable by a narrowband radio frequency interference is based on formation of a single loop on the coaxial cable, thereby achieving misphasing of the interference inducing field and already induced voltage in the cable and involves determination of frequency f*, on which there is the minimum of the voltage induced at the ends of the coaxial cable when connecting to matched voltage loads as per the formula , where X is the length of the cable in meters, α is the wavelength shortening coefficient in the cable, c=3⋅108 m/sec is the speed of light in free space, it is compared with the known narrowband interference frequency fint, if fint<f* determined is a loop radius on the coaxial cable as per the formula , in the middle of the coaxial cable a loop of the calculated radius is formed and fixed with a cable coupling.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of voltages induced on matched loads at points of the coaxial cable connection by an external narrowband radio frequency interference.
