SUBSTANCE: methods and device for fire extinguishing in data processing center hot passage/cold passage according to various aspects of present invention include detection system, which is made with possibility of arrangement near computer cabinet side, which facing hot passage, and exhaust system, which is made with possibility of arrangement in underground space having cooling air flow, which is directed from underground space upwards through one or more ventilation holes in underground space and into cold passage. Detection system can be made with possibility of fire hazard detection, for example, leaving cabinet smoke, and in response generation of signal, activating exhaust system.
EFFECT: exhaust system can be made with possibility of fire extinguishing agent injection into cooling air flow, thereby cooling air flow can facilitate supply of fire extinguishing agent into cold passage and into computer cabinet.
