FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in creation and application of devices and systems for measurement of the insulation resistance in the direct current networks with insulated neutral, which are under voltage. Essence: voltage is measured between "ground" and direct current power supply poles. To do that, resistance element is connected to one pole and then to another, voltages at the poles are equalized by parallel connection to the direct current power supply of two identical resistors connected serially, while the common point of those is connected to "ground" via third resistor. At the same time, resistance elements are alternatively connected in parallel with first and second resistors, and voltage is measured at the third resistor after connecting one and another resistance elements. Then the insulation resistance for the entire network is determined, and after that - for each pole.

EFFECT: invention provides increased accuracy of direct current network insulation resistance measurement.
