FIELD: meteorology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for displaying weather. Method includes stages, at which: received is information on the weather and information on orientation of the terminal; determined is at least one meteorological element making the weather animation according to the weather information; determined is a state of displacement of each of at least one meteorological element according to the information on orientation of the terminal, herewith the state of displacement comprises an initial position and a displacement trajectory, and the displacement trajectory of each object of the meteorological element is determined as a moving one from the initial position along the direction of gravity; formed is a weather animation according to the state of displacement of the meteorological element and displayed is the weather animation on the terminal.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of reliability of weather information taking into account the orientation of the user terminal and the current time.
