FIELD: petroleum industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of transportation pipelines, particularly, to the methods of treatment of the internal surfaces of the oil-trunk pipelines. The chemical treatment of the internal surface of a pipeline preliminarily divided into treated sections is performed by means of bringing a solvent plug along the entire length of a treated section for removing of asphalt, resin, and wax deposits. The treatment of the internal surface of the pipeline from the solvent residues is performed by means of bringing an adsorbing light petroleum plug along the entire length of the treated section. Quality control of treatment of the pipeline is performed by means of bringing of a control light petroleum plug along the entire length of the treated section with the further sampling in the endpoint of the treated section.

EFFECT: time for switching of an oil-trunk pipeline for transportation of light petroleum products reduces, the quality of treatment of the internal surface of the linear part of the oil-trunk pipeline increases.
