Method of producing a functionalised polymer includes steps: polymerisation of conjugated diene monomer and optionally a monomer copolymerisable with it to form a reactive polymer and reaction of reactive polymer with lactone or thiolactone containing protected amino group.
EFFECT: invention reduces hysteresis and lowers cold flow of polymers.
