FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of synthetic rubber used in production of tires and parts of tires, industrial rubber articles, balls for golf, and specifically relates to production of diene copolymers. Diene copolymers are obtained by polymerisation of a conjugated diene in an organic solvent medium using a catalyst system comprising a lanthanide, an organoaluminium compound and a halogen-containing component. When at least 96 % conversion of conjugated diene is achieved, introduction of a comonomer selected from complex cyclic esters of hydroxy acids containing 2–10 carbon atoms in the cycle and at least one branching agent selected from a group of chlorine-containing compounds. Invention equally relates to a diene copolymer obtained using said method, as well as a rubber mixture based on the obtained diene copolymer.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a diene copolymer having improved processability at the step of mixing, which is confirmed by low Mooney viscosity values of rubber mixtures, as well as improved processing of rubber mixtures and improved reaction of the copolymer with fillers, which is confirmed by low values of the Payne effect.
