FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a frame, a bin and a drum. The following units are set as well: water supply cock, pump, tank to collect the rind with a removable filter set in its upper part, and drainage pipeline. The drum is made as a cylinder with its lower inner part being equipped by metal rectangular plates in the form of graters with hole size of 1-3 mm. The drum is hermetically connected to the bin bottom where a rotating disk is mounted. The water supply cock installed at the frame, pump, tank to collect the rind with a removable filter set in its upper part, and the drainage pipeline are serially connected to each other by a rubber pipeline.
EFFECT: usage of the invention provides for qualitative peeling of fruits and roots.
