FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the medicine, particularly, to the ophthalmology, and designed for the surgical treatment of the glaucoma with the help of the draining autovalve limbosclerectomy. Formation of a conjunctival and superficial U-shaped scleral flap in the form of a strip with its base to the limbus, resection of a distal area of the deep sclera flap to the supraciliary space and formation of a limbectomical hole under the base of the scleral flap and iridectomy, and introduction of the formed superficial sclera flap into the supraciliary space via this hole, are performed. The thickness of the superficial scleral flap is 350 mcm; the length is 6-6.5 mm. After formation of the superficial scleral flap, 0.1 ml of dissolvable viscoelastic is administered into the corner of the front eye chamber in the area of the scleral flap projection. After the introduction of the superficial scleral flap into the supraciliary space, 3 parallel vertical incisions of the deep layers of sclera from the limboectomical hole is performed in the proximal chamber of scleral bed bottom. Whereupon, the middle incision along the center of the bed has the length of 1.0-1.2 mm and the lateral ones on the sides of the bed are 0.5-0.6 mm long.

EFFECT: method of the surgical treatment of the glaucoma provides improvement of stability and depth of hypotensive action with the prevention of IOP increasing relapses, as well as with the corresponding stabilization of visual functions, and prevents damaging of the area of the optically active retina.
