FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to construction, namely, to producing a porous article. Method of producing a porous article involves: the first stage of coating pores of at least the main surface of a porous body formed from an inorganic material with the first mixed solution containing metal oxide particles, an alkali metal silicate and water to fill the pores with the first mixed solution; the second stage of removing the residual first mixed solution, which is not used for filling the pores; and the third stage of additional coating the first mixed solution, which the pores are filled with been removed of the residual first mixed solution, with the second mixed solution containing an aqueous alkaline solution of zirconium carbonate and an aqueous silicate solution or a colloidal silicon dioxide, in which metal oxide particles are particles of aluminium oxide of α-type having the structure of corundum, the alkali metal silicate is lithium silicate, and the weight ratio of aluminium oxide particles : lithium silicate : water in the first mixed solution is (40–60):(1–10):(30–59), D50 of particle size distribution as per aluminium oxide particles makes 0.5–5 µm and D90 of particle size distribution as per aluminium oxide particles is equal to 3 µm or more and the second mixed solution A contains 0.5–15 wt% of zirconium in terms of zirconium dioxide and 0.005–7.5 wt% of silicate or colloidal silicon dioxide in terms of silicon dioxide, and when the total weight of zirconium dioxide and silicon dioxide is 100 wt%, the share of silicon dioxide is 1–50 wt%, and the second mixed solution B contains 0.005–4.5 wt% of zirconium in terms of zirconium dioxide and 0.5–15 wt% of silicate or colloidal silicon dioxide in terms of silicon dioxide, and when the total weight of zirconium dioxide and silicon dioxide is 100 wt%, the share of zirconium dioxide is 1–30 wt%.
EFFECT: technical result is an excellent effect of preventing pollution of the surface and resistance to alkalis and acids, process of treating a porous article can be made at room temperature or at the relatively low temperature of 100°C or lower.
