SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a NO_x accumulating component containing a NO_x absorbing catalyst for use in cleaning exhaust gases of vehicles, a system of ICE exhaust gases ejection and a method of cleaning exhaust gases containing NO_x. NO_x absorbing catalyst contains two or more layers deposited on a solid substrate, in which the first layer contains a NO_x accumulating component containing caesium silicate (CS₂SiO₃) and a platinum group metal, and the second layer contains an alkali-earth metal.

EFFECT: invention provides efficient cleaning of exhaust gases of automobile engines.
