SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of protecting the securities from counterfeiting. The composition of unstable ink obtained solvent-based or from UV-curable components is described. The unstable ink composition is designed for application to a substrate on which marks are to be placed. The ink composition includes at least one halochromic compound and at least one ionic filler compound. The said unstable ink composition is capable to prevent the marks obtained by using thermosensitive erasable ink and then subjected to heat treatment in the substrate area carrying the unstable ink composition to pass into the state of invisibility to the naked eye, ensuring the prevention of counterfeiting on securities by using thermosensitive erasable ink.
EFFECT: invention expands the range of the means of securities counterfeit protection.
