FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: labeled coating composition (1) comprises (i) a marker unextractable component (5) comprising an oligomeric or polymeric moiety (2a) and at least one marker group (3a) connected to the moiety (2a) via covalent linker group (4); or comprises (ii) an oligomeric or polymeric component (2) and at least one marker (3) comprising the marker group (3a) and a group capable of forming the covalent linker group (4) to obtain the component (5) after curing of the composition (1). The amount of marker group (3a) relative to the composition (1) is 0.001-1 wt %. The composition (1) represents one of the following: coating composition drying during oxidation, thermal drying composition, composition capable of curing with UV-visible light radiation, and combinations thereof. The label resistant to extraction by conventional chemical methods such as washing or usage of solvents, can be detected and identified after thermally induced chemical fragmentation using PY-GC-MS device.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the labeling authentication and protection during tracing of their origin.
