FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to jet ink compositions for digital production of transparent objects. Invention discloses curable ink containing at least one monomer, oligomer or prepolymer; optional photoinitiator; an optional colorant and an amide gel-forming agent having a molecular weight from about 800 to about 2500 g/mol, where said ink has a gelation start, determined by the vitrification temperature of the low-molecular amide gel-forming agent, in accordance with the expression: beginning of gelling (K) = (constant) Tg of gelling agent (K), where the constant is less than 1.5, wherein the ink is cured to obtain a transparent object and no wax is found in the ink. Also disclosed is a method of printing a three-dimensional article, comprising providing curable ink; applying curable ink in one or more layers and curing the applied ink to obtain a three-dimensional object.
EFFECT: technical result is that the disclosed ink does not turn yellow when cured, and does not turn yellow with time.
