FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the area of engine construction, particularly, to the piston and rotor prechamber internal combustion engines. The matter of the invention lies in the fact that the engine contains a cylinder, a piston, and a swirl spherical chamber connected to the cylinder via a channel directed angularly to the piston bottom and performed in the form of a diffuser or a Laval nozzle. There is an ignitor installed in the swirl chamber, and the chamber itself has a detachable spiral heater located on the external surface of a chamber insertion casing. The insertion casing is equipped with a temperature gauge, and the Laval nozzle is performed in the insertion and has a bevel cut. In the case of allocation of several nozzles in the chamber, they are oriented angularly to each other providing jet impingements of dispensed components. A bush made of a catalyst may be installed in the insert casing. A microwave magnetron or a thermal pulse laser may be installed in the chamber.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing efficiency of engine performance.
