FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to be used at steam-turbine plants of nuclear power plants (NPP) at working medium temperature below self-ignition temperature of hydrogen mixed with oxygen. Hydrogen combustion system in NPP cycle includes hydrogen-oxygen steam generator with an ignition device, supply lines of oxidiser (oxygen) and fuel (hydrogen), hydrogen-oxygen combustion chamber of original non-stoichiometric oxidation, afterburning hydrogen-oxygen combustion chamber of stoichiometric oxidation, mixing cavity of high temperature steam with live steam in the section before high pressure cylinder of steam turbine. Afterburning chamber is made in the form of a diffuser and arranged in the mixing cavity of high temperature steam with live steam. Supply lines of ballasting water with built-in atomisers are connected to it, which are routed along the combustion chamber on opposite sides. Built-in atomisers are interconnected with inner cavity of the afterburning chamber.
EFFECT: possibility of steam-hydrogen superheat of live steam at temperature below self-ignition temperature of hydrogen mixed with oxygen so that temperature of hydrogen-oxygen steam is controlled under conditions of reduced consumption of live steam or its complete absence.
