FIELD: ship building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship-building industry in part of ships metal hulls production, build by framework method. Vibration exciter is installed on skin in ship hull stiffeners intersection points, fixed bottom up on mounting plate. Performing low-frequency vibration treatment (LFVT) at resonance frequency along ship hull cross-sections, distance between which is not exceeding 5 m, at three points of each cross-section, starting from cross-section passing through ship center at midship frame and midplane intersection plane. At that, vibration exciter is first installed in ship center perpendicularly to midplane, then, shifting stiffeners intersection point in luff area to one sideboard, and then to another, after which LFVT is repeated in other cross-sections, first, arranged in stern direction, and then to bow.
EFFECT: reducing residual welding strains in ships hulls before release from attachment to mounting plate, increasing accuracy of structural dimensions and shape and ship hulls.
