ELECTRIC MACHINE ROTOR Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC H02K1/27

Abstract RU 2610305 C1

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to the electric machine building. The electric machine rotor is made in the form of a cylindrical shaft of a nonmagnetic material having a longitudinal radial cavities for placement of magnetic strips parallel to the rotor axis, and pivots at the ends. Shaft is monolithic, preferably made of a titanium alloy. Longitudinal radial cavities are made as through channels without communication with the outer surface of the rotor. Sections of the channels surface facing it and the axis of the rotor rotation are rounded, and the radius of this curvature is smaller than the radius of curvature of the outer surface of the rotor. Magnetic strips sections facing the outer surface of the rotor are congruent to the surface of channels, and their opposing sections are flattened. Magnetic strips are magnetized radially. The ends of through channels are overlapped by pivot skirts fastened to rotor ends.

EFFECT: increasing the mechanical strength of the rotor, reducing the additional losses and parasitic moments caused by the higher harmonics of the inductor magnetic field.
