FIELD: physics, measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of measuring equipment and can be used in navigation systems, land survey and moving objects orientation. To do this, the following is introduced: a ball-bearing support with application of double angular contact ball bearings; a gearless drive for platform rotation and an electromagnetic brake for its fixation; hard stops on the base and rotating platform. Moreover, the drive motor, with stator mounted on the base and rotor mounted on the platform, is dimensionally configured with the inner diameter not less than the outer diameter of the double angular contact ball bearings, and with the yoke length, not greater than the height of the double angular contact ball bearings, and the electromagnetic brake inner diameter is dimensionally configured to be not less than the outer diameter of the drive motor, and its height does not exceed the height of the double angular contact ball bearings; the double angular contact ball bearings, the driving motor, the electromagnetic brake are arranged concentrically in the same plane and one of the stops has two eccentric surfaces and can be rotated about its own axis.
EFFECT: invention provides increased measurement accuracy in navigation systems.
