FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: capsule (1) contains powder food substance which can be extracted by water passing through it to manufacture the beverage. The capsule comprises a cup-shaped housing (2) comprising a bottom wall (3) and a side wall (4), a cover attached along edge (5) of side wall (4) located on the side opposite to bottom wall (3). Between cover (6) and inner surface of housing (2) of capsule (1), a chamber (7) for food substance is located. Cover (6) is pierced for water injection into chamber (7). Bottom wall (3) is also pierced in the central section (8) to extract beverage from capsule (1). Filter (9) is located inside chamber (7) near bottom wall (3) and is made of a multilayer sheet of flexible material attached directly to housing (2). Filter (9) separates the powder food substance from central section (8) of bottom wall (3) and is pierced for beverage preventing passage of powder food substance. In central section (8) of bottom wall (3), a flexible sheet forms at least one projection (10) to cover (6), wherein filter (9) is located at a distance from central section (8) of bottom wall (3), and where compartment (12) is located between filter (9) and central section (8), which during the use of piercing element is inserted after penetrating through central section (8) of bottom wall (3) without damage to filter (9).
EFFECT: invention expands the range of beverage manufacturing devices which results in high manufacturing speed.
