SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information security in telecommunications. Method, in which a server receives an identification request from a terminal, sends an identification code to terminal via a first data transmission network; terminal transmits identification code to telecommunication equipment; server receives from telecommunication equipment identification code together with a unique identifier, generates a single-use identification token and sends it to telecommunication equipment via a second data transmission network; telecommunication equipment returns single-use identification token to server via second data transmission network; simultaneously terminal receives personal access code entered by a person; server receives personal access code from terminal via first data transmission network; server identifies person, if identification code, unique identifier, identification token and personal access code match elements contained on a server.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reliable identification of owner of telecommunications equipment.
