FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric machine engineering, in particular, to design of stator for powerful turbine generator. Stator of turbine generator contains core, in slots of which winding bars with end winding are inserted, end plates installed at the ends of core to form radial channels and electromagnetic screens, fixed on end plates and made up of radial and inclined parts. Radial channels communicate with passages between the inner cylindrical surfaces of end plates and surfaces of winding bars located outside of core ends, as well as with longitudinal slots made uniformly in circumferential direction on the inner cylindrical surfaces of end plates. Passages and longitudinal slots are interconnected with channels formed between external surfaces of screens and surfaces of elements restricting channels on the side of end winding.
EFFECT: technical result – improvement of operational reliability and simpler design with simultaneous provision of efficient cooling for end plates and electromagnetic screens.
