FIELD: physics, instrumentation technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser Doppler measuring devices. A laser device for measuring velocity and/or displacement of small-size objects in limited-access places includes a single-frequency semiconductor laser with wavelength of 1064 nm and an oscillation line width of not more than 3 MHz. The device also includes an optical isolator, a fibre amplifier with a pumping laser diode laser, an optical radiation splitter performing the function of a beam splitter. The splitter is connected to a connector with a corner chip which performs the function of a weakly reflective mirror, a collimator with a beam diameter of 0.8-1.2 mm and an optical receiver. The output of the receiver is connected to the input of an oscilloscope which is connected to a computer via a USB interface.

EFFECT: invention provides a long (about 100 m) coherence length.
