FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, in particular to shooter location on area determination using sound waves. Said result is achieved due to arrangement of three sensors, including base one, on one straight line in horizontal plane at known distances one from another and one sensor on vertical line from base sensor also at certain, known distance, wherein measurement of mismatch time intervals of sound wave arrival to base sensor and all other sensors enables to form three linear equations and calculate shooter location point coordinates by sound of shot due to this system of equations solving.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of shooter coordinates determining.
