SUBSTANCE: invention relates to secure communication. Method includes steps of: a base station requesting a first configuration parameter from a configuration server, and requesting a digital certificate from a CA server, base station establishing a temporary IPSec tunnel to a security gateway according to acquired digital certificate and requesting a second configuration parameter from a background network management unit through temporary IPSec tunnel, and after receiving second configuration parameter, base station completes operation of temporary IPSec tunnel and establishes a permanent IPSec tunnel between itself and security gateway in accordance with second configuration parameter.
EFFECT: technical result consists in automatic detection and automatic establishment of a secure communication line between a base station and a core network.
