FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry and can be used for identification of watering wells and water inflow intervals. The method comprises performing without well shutoff of background and monitoring humidity metering studies of complete operating well stock, on the basis of which the group of possible watering wells is identified. By changing the depression the increment of vapour phase values, velocity and flow rate of gas flow in either direction, or absence of increments are detected. Based on these results the watering well is identified. It is used for execution of nuclear studies for identification of watering interval or multiple intervals. In these intervals the geological and technical measures for water shutoff in order to increase the gas recoverability are performed.
EFFECT: invention consists in improvement of reliability of determination of watering wells and water inflow intervals.
