FIELD: biochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, namely to method of transformation of plants, involving bringing plant cell in contact with cell of Agrobacterium, which has failure of RecA function, as well as to plant expressing exogenous gene obtained by said method. Invention also relates to cell of Agrobacterium, which is defect in relation to functions of DNA recombination, for transformation of plants.

EFFECT: invention enables to efficiently transform plant for expression of exogenous gene in it.
