SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for plant cell transformation, wherein the method comprises contacting of the immature maize embryos plant cells with Agrobacterium cells in a liquid medium containing a nonionic trisyloxane surfactant. The method comprises plant cells contacting with Agrobacterium cells in a liquid medium containing a nonionic trisyloxane surfactant, wherein the surfactant has a concentration of about 0.005 weight percent to about 0.04 weight percent in a liquid medium, co-cultivation of plant cells and Agrobacterium for 1-4 days in the light, and wherein the plant cells are derived from immature maize embryos with lengths greater than or equal to 1.5 mm and less than or equal to 2.5 mm.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve the results of immature corn embryos transformation.
