FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: heating unit comprises an air inlet, at least one air outlet, an impeller, an electric motor rotating the impeller, a user interface that allows the user to select the motor speed, and at least one heating assembly comprising at least one heating element with PTC for heating air passing from the air inlet to the corresponding air outlet. The amount of current consumed by at least one heating unit is detected, and the motor speed is controlled independently of the rotation user-defined speed with account of parameters of current consumed by at least one of the heating units.

EFFECT: increased efficiency ratio.
