SUBSTANCE: device comprises a memory, a display device, a parameter input unit, an analytical unit, which comprises an image access unit and an event selection unit, that are connected to the memory and the interval division unit, which is connected to the parameter input unit and the image overlaying unit, which is connected to the display device. The image access unit is dapted to identify and retrieve the data on the flow duration of images from the archive and transmitting them to the interval division unit. The analytical unit is configured to determine events in the flow of images and to transmit the data on time duration of the events to the interval division unit.
EFFECT: reducing image playback time by identifying the areas of the events in the flow of images.
