FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the device for mixing of viscous compositions, and can find an application in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, building and other industries. The mixer for viscous compositions comprises a cylindrical stationary housing in the form of a barrel with a stirrer inside with a shaft and a motion drive, and a cover, also the mixing device is designed as a piston with radial holes which is fixed with sliding fit with reference to the inner wall of the cylindrical housing, and the shaft is mounted for reciprocating movement, it is rigidly fixed to the piston and is centered by the sliding bearing mounted in the housing, while above the piston a plug for stub radial holes is placed movably, and on the barrel bottom a discharge hole is located, according to the invention the plug for radial holes is made in the form of a metal disc attached movably to the piston surface, on the metal disk the holes are located the axes of which are made with the possibility of offset in circumferential direction which provides the overlapping of radial holes with the disk during unloading, alternating with the alignment of holes during the process of mixing of viscous composition, the diameter of the holes has two values, when large diameter holes are open and smaller diameter holes are closed, the composition premixing is performed when the large diameter holes are closed, the final mixing is better performed.
EFFECT: increase of the mixer capacity.
