FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: regulating valve applies to oil and gas industry and comprises housing 1 with pin 2, movable shutter 3 with running thread 4 on the outer surface and groove 5, interacting with pin 2, saddle 6 with a seal and worm gear of rolling shutter, including worm 7 located in housing 1 and connected to the drive source (not shown in the drawing), and worm wheel 8 with translation thread 9 mounted in housing 1, when running thread 4 and 9 are made with guaranteed radial gap 10. Due to the placement of the worm wheel directly in the housing and presence in the running threads of interacting with each other worm wheel and rolling shutter of the guaranteed radial gap, the friction force and wear in the moving joints are significantly reduced, and tighter valve sealing is ensured that allows to increase reliability, accuracy and durability of the regulating valve.

EFFECT: invention can be used at main pipelines to control gas flow rate and gas flow cutoff with a predetermined tightness.
