FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: sealing gate assembly includes a spool and a seat. Either in the seat or in the spool there made is an annular groove wherein an annular flexible sealing element and a protection ring is located. Protection ring interacts with annular flexible sealing element along conical "Б" surface, and with the seat or with the spool - along cylindrical "В" surface. Movable connection of protection ring to the seat or the spool is provided with alignment elements made in particular in the form of screws. The latter are rigidly fixed on the thread in the seat or in the spool. For this purpose, threaded attachment grooves are made in the seat or in the spool. Length of attachment grooves exceeds length of the screws. In protection ring there made are smooth blind guide grooves for the screws, which form, when being aligned with threaded grooves, the holes the longitudinal axes whereof lie on cylindrical axis of protection ring interacting with the seat or the spool. Protection ring can be split-type for easy assembly/removal.

EFFECT: improving operating reliability, increasing life time of valve owing to reducing erosive wear of an annular flexible sealing element in the gate.
