Medical imaging device (10) comprises inverter (12) with semiconductor switches (26) for generation of alternating voltage, to be supplied to load (20, 22), coil (32), inductively connected to inverter (12) conductor (34), connected with inverter (12) semiconductor switch (26), and monitoring circuit (60) for current in conductor (34) monitoring using signal from coil (32).
EFFECT: technical result is accurate detection of maximum current in medical imaging device.
