SUBSTANCE: at first, the value of "individual maximum human length standing, stretched upward, with reduced natural spinal curves in the sagittal plane" is determined according to the results of the two measurement stages: after resting for at least two days in a state of lack of physical and mental fatigue and after moderate physical activity during the warm-up of no more than 8-10 minutes from the start of classes. The maximum of the resulting human growth values is selected. Then the height of a person is determined in standing position maximally stretched up after physical activity. The condition of the trunk skeletal muscle surface layer tonus is determined by the difference between the "individual maximum human length standing, stretched upward, with reduced natural spinal curves in the sagittal plane" with the length in standing position after physical activity at the time of measurement. The smaller the obtained difference is, the more optimal value of the trunk skeletal muscles surface layer tonus is concluded.

EFFECT: method allows accurate, simple and informative determination of the trunk skeletal muscles surface layer tonus condition by determining the difference between the "individual maximum human length standing, stretched upward, with reduced natural spinal curves in the sagittal plane" and the length in standing position after physical activity at the time of measurement.
