GAS-DYNAMIC PRESSURE SOURCE Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC F41F1/00

Abstract RU 2611852 C1

FIELD: physics, instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to gas-dynamic devices using gas-generating charges, namely, explosives, as power sources. Gas-dynamic pressure source comprises a high pressure chamber with an inner cavity where the gas generating explosive charge is placed. A gas output is made at one end of the chamber, and an input of the initiation line of the gas-generating explosive charge, connecting it to the initiation source located outside the chamber, is made on the other end. At that, the cross-sectional area of the gas output hole shall be min. 0.25 of the cross-sectional area of the inner cavity of the chamber and the cross-sectional area of holes for the input of the initiation line of the gas-generating explosive charge is 0.01-0.05 of the cross-sectional area of one hole. The gas output hole is covered by a membrane to collapse under the pressure of explosion products of the gas generating charge.

EFFECT: invention extends functionality by enabling higher speeds of movement of the loaded object.
