FIELD: blasting jobs.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gasdynamic pressure source (GPS) relates to powder-type pressure accumulators and pyrotechnical devices to be used in aeronautical engineering, systems of expulsion or separation of units etc. The proposed GPS comprises a hollow housing, its one end face being closed with a cover furnished with filler holes stopped by membranes. The GPS inner space accommodates a hollow cylindrical powder charge with a rod-type igniter with ignition initiator. Aforesaid igniter is made from explosive or detonating cord and arranged inside the powder charge with a gap.
EFFECT: higher stability of intraballistic parametres of pressure source, safety of operating performances.
