FIELD: blasting operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to providing explosions of area charges from elastic explosive and can be used to simulate distributed shock waves and strength tests of barriers on impact of mechanical pressure pulse. Shock wave generator of explosive type consists of charge of explosive substance, electric detonator, routing of initiation system. Charge is made of flexible cord of round section with perforation from through holes in volume of cord located equidistant from obstacle. Volumetric perforation is performed along cord length with pitch providing reliable detonation without collision of detonation waves. Initiation system is spread out of a filamentary cord in a shell.

EFFECT: technical result consists in expansion of the range of creation of small and ultra-small pulses with smooth distribution of pressure over the area of loading obstacles of complex configuration.
