FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the medicine and may be used in the oral and maxillofacial surgery. The recording of the bioelectrical potentials is performed in the masseter muscle area (BPm.u.) on the unaffected side, and then, in the masseter muscle area (BPm.p.) from side of operated phlegmon. The parameter of bioelectrical activity difference of the masseter muscles is determined in percentage. At the value of the parameter from 10 to 30%, the rate I of relaxation is set, at the value from 31 to 50%, the rate II of relaxation is set, and at the value of more than 50%, the rate III of relaxation of the masseter muscle on the operated side is set.
EFFECT: method of reduction of post-operation complications by means of determination of relaxation rate for muscles individually for each patient.
