FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises such parts of impact detection and airbags actuating system as impact detectors and a processing/control unit for actuating the valve means to provide compressed air through pipes to foam generators which are located directly at the potential fire area. Foam generators contain foaming solution which, combined with compressed air, forms a foam to be used for fire extinguishing. Use of components safe for human for fire extinguishing allows to minimize the negative impact of fire extinguishing agent to the occupants of a vehicle and immediately activate the device for fire protection of the passenger compartment after an emergency. The device disconnects the vehicle battery, which is a dangerous source of ignition. To this regard, the valve device is provided with a latch, which allows to ensure an open state of the valve means after activation of the fire extinguishing system and power disconnaction. The valve means comprises a contact device power circuit breaker, which provides the connection of the vehicle battery with all the onboard power supply system.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of preventive fire protection.
