FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method of testing the ascent of the model of submerged marine structures, the structure is submerged by a support bracket of a rope system and held at the required depth of the floating platform, and with the help of a protracted branch the model is submerged on a floating platform at the said depth by placing weights on the counterweight. Then, the ice field is pushed on top the model, and a predetermined amount of model buoyancy is calculated by removing a certain part of the cargo from the counterweight. Model ascends until it comes into contact with the lower surface of the ice field, on ascent of the models a predetermined amount of its trim is maintained by choosing the fixing points along the length of the model with the help of the protracted branch of the cable system. Acceleration and ascent rate settings, the contact force of the model with the ice field and the deformation of the ice field are measured, after which the test pattern is repeated several times, pulling the ice field on the model before the working part of the ice field is exhausted. The device for carrying out tests on the ascent of the model is also offered.
EFFECT: better experimental possibilities for submerged test models in the ice towing tank.
