FIELD: sea transport; designing of experimental testing tanks. SUBSTANCE: tank is provided with refrigerating chamber, canal with water and ice fields, refrigerating machines, towing trolley and sensor showing its speed; tank is also provided with plant of adjustable rigidity under water and with false bottom adjustable in height; plant has stationary base and detachable metal truss made in form of rod system bounded by two platforms: one platform is immovable connected with stationary base and other movable platform is secured on flexible rods of rectangular section for alternating connection of them to movable platform; opposite ends of rods are rigidly connected with immovable platform for turning around longitudinal axis of rods through angle of 90 deg. Movable platform carries dynamometric device for mounting the model under test. Towing trolley is provided with device for motion of ice field to model under test. Plant is located symmetrically relative to longitudinal axis of canal at distance not lesser than half length from the beginning of canal. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of use of experimental ice tank. 7 dwg
