FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic fetometry is carried out for pregnant women before delivery. Femur length, transverse shoulder dimension, fetus head, chest and abdomen circumference are measured, and the fetal weight is calculated by the formula: M=0.63×π×(FL+TSS)×(AC+CC+HC), where FL is length of fetal femur (cm), TSS is transverse shoulder dimension between the most distant points of acromion processes (cm), AC is fetal abdomen circumference (cm), CC is chest circumference at level of fetal heart base (cm), HC is fetal head circumference (cm).
EFFECT: improved accuracy and simplification of fetal weight definition by choosing the criteria based on assessment of ultrasonic parameters and weight dependence, according to a mathematical model based on the methods of regression analysis, which allows determination of the likelihood of birth trauma.
