SUBSTANCE: frontal-occipital size of the head, the length of the ovoid of the fetus are measured in the third trimester of pregnancy. The body mass index is determined as per for Quetelet in the first trimester of pregnancy and the fetus weight M is calculated by the formula: M=FOS2×FOL-0.01×BMI3, where FOS is the frontal-occipital size of the fetal head (cm), FOL is the fetal ovoid length (cm), BMI is the woman's body mass index as per Quetelet in the first trimester of pregnancy.
EFFECT: method allows to improve the accuracy of fetus weight determination for women in the third trimester of pregnancy through the measurement of anthropometric indicators.
