SUBSTANCE: in women in the third trimester of pregnancy, measurements of the length and width of the ovoid of the fetus, the circumference of the abdomen, the thickness of the skin fold of the pregnant belly along the mid-axillary line at the umbilicus level are taken, and the mass of the fetus M is calculated using the formula: M = (ovoid length – skinfold thickness) × (ovoid width - skinfold thickness) × (abdomen circumference - π × skinfold thickness) / 12, in centimeters.

EFFECT: method improves the accuracy of determining the weight of the fetus in women in the third trimester of pregnancy.
